Stephen Karcher, Ph.D., is an internationally recognized scholar, translator and initiated diviner, teaching and lecturing on the Yijing and other divination systems for over 30 years in the US, Great Britain, France, Spain, Switzerland and South Africa. Returning to the Well: An Interactive Seminar on the I Ching

A unique opportunity to study with one of the world’s great teachers

In this seminar, we will learn to use the I Ching to open an interactive space between where insight is born and where individual change occurs. This is a transformation of what the old Chinese sages called the heart-mind that dissolves fixed thought-patterns and promotes imaginative mobility. We will begin with making a question, exploring the techniques of turning a problem into the basis of a dialog. Next we will examine the hexagrams, trigrams and lines; and how they are produced and how they can be arranged into a Reading Layout. Finally we will discuss the choreographies of reading the answer and the circles of meaning through which change can speak to us.
